What qualifies you for this position?
“I have a B.S. in business administration from SIUE. My 20-plus years of work experience includes finance, management, marketing, human resources and business administration. My family and I have resided in Freeburg for 15-plus years, and I am a member of the Reichert family that originally settled in Freeburg in the mid-1800s and owned the Reichert Milling Co. I have previously served the school district and community in various volunteer roles. I consider myself an extremely dedicated, hard-working and honest person and am committed to moving Freeburg forward with the best interest of the village and its residents in mind.”
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it?
“Collectively addressing all of Freeburg’s challenges is of utmost importance in continuing to move our community forward. This can only be accomplished by having a board that is unified and supportive of all aspects of our community. Our elected officials need to be honest, forthcoming and committed to make sure that the tax dollars of our citizens are being used wisely and efficiently. If elected, I pledge to focus on working together with the residents, elected officials and village staff of Freeburg for continued growth and successful development of our hometown and local businesses.”
