I have heard complaints from some families about trying to contact Medicaid and other government agencies. When first contacted the government agency gave them forms to fill out, questions to answer, requests for information and required forms to submit. From that point in time, the agency personnel seem to have vanished. Letters were sent to the agency requesting information on the status of the submitted information. Phone calls went unanswered, as the office was closed that day, or the person was unavailable. Whatever, there was no response to letters, or repeated phone calls.
I am wondering how long the honest taxpayers are going to stand for such incompetence, will they begin to wake up to the fact that these government agencies are corrupt? These families do not expect immediate responses, or to have someone answer the phone the minute it rings, but they do expect to receive answers to their submitted information and to messages left on government phones, but this is not happening. No one seems to know who to call. If they call a government number to ask for information on how to contact the agency for information on their submittals, they are told they do not have that information, but will give a number to contact, which repeats the same unanswered phones.
I repeat myself: how long will it take for the people to make changes and correct such incompetence?
Never miss a local story.
