• Call the Illinois Child Abuse Hotline at 800-25-ABUSE or 800-252-2873. If you are out-of-state, call 217-524-2606.

• Callers can remain anonymous, and all calls are kept confidential.

• The DCFS warns against e-mailing an allegation of child abuse because it may cause delays.
