Edna Evans celebrates 99 years
Edna Evans' grandchildren recently helped her celebrate her 99th birthday with lunch at the Hillsboro Country Club.
Edna Evans, of Collinsville, is still very active and bowls every week, goes to bridge club and attended the Rose Bowl to cheer on Illinois football. Family from Illinois, Ohio, Virginia, Tennessee and Arizona spent a long weekend visiting and celebrating Edna's birthday.
She is a retired school teacher and has five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
