K-9 Unit police dogs show off their skills at SWIC

Belleville K-9 Police Officer Brian Dowdy and his K-9 cadets demonstrated their skills during the "Walk This Way: Make a Dog's Day" held May 7 at SWIC.

Despite the rainy day and sloppy conditions, the K-9 Unit police dogs carried on. "All police officers and their dogs work in all sorts of weather," Officer Dowdy said. "People who commit crimes really don't care if the sun is shining or not."
