Q: What ever became of Patricia Kara, the model on “Deal Or No Deal”?
Ken Dressler, of Fairview Heights
A: Now 45, the Chicago native who was once credited as the “beautiful elevator girl” in the 2005 movie “All Babes Want to Kill Me,” is still riding high after her six years of carrying the No. 9 briefcase on the once-popular game show from 2005 to 2010.
Since then, Panayota Karamouzis (her birth name) has showed off her Greek charms on exercise videos (“Deal With Your Body” and “Fast Fitness”) as well as occasionally popping up on TV on such shows as “Fox and Friends” and “Teens Wanna Know.” Along the way, she also has starred in Trace Adkins’ music video “Marry for Money,” worked with such charities as the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Women for Women International and starred in her own Internet webcast, “Dish with Trish” (search for it on YouTube).
After a nearly three-year engagement, she married former Cleveland Browns lineman Noel LaMontagne in 2012. And to help young women get their own start in modeling, Kara launched a series of workshops and private consultation seminars entitled “Secrets to a Successful You.”
