Polish American Ladies Society
The next meeting of PALS will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, at the Caseyville Township Building, 10001 Bunkum Road. The St. Clair County Garden Club will have a meeting at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, at the Blazier House, 8501 W. Main St., Belleville. The cost is $13. O’Fallon Garden Club

Girl Scout Gold Award project garden tours
Elementary-aged Girl Scouts are invited to the O’Fallon Community Garden at the corner of Smiley and State Street from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, and noon-1:30 p.m., 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 3. O’Fallon Township High School graduate, Victoria Birchem, will lead tours of the community garden in order to earn her Girl Scout Gold Award for the project, “Nomenclature for Nature.”
International Women’s Organization
The next meeting of the International Women’s Organization will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, at the Community Room, Eden Village, 200 S. Station Road, Glen Carbon. The speaker will be Jeannie Dinning, Speech Center Coordinator at SIUE and lecturer of career development and remedial reading. The topic will be: “How to Recognize Historical Arts and Cultures.”
