KEYBOARD KEY FRAMES: Add a little color to your desk or room away from home with clever wood boxes and frames made from keyboard keys. They're $16.95 each at Earthbound Trading Co., at the mall.
BELTS FROM SEATBELTS: Retailers already sell handbags made from seatbelts, so why not belts? These belts from Fuego at the mall come in a variety of patterns, from Batman and Superman to the LIttle Mermaid and camouflage and lots in between. The buckles look just like the kind you snap on in the car but have insignias on them that compliment the belt. The belts are adjustable and cost $21.80 and $24.80.
TRAVEL PAL: This sturdy little creature is part of a line called Mess Eaters Travel Pal by Pkolino. It has a zippered smile, comes in pink, green or blue and can hold bottles, snacks and toys. With a Velcro strap around the back or one on top, it can hang from bikes, strollers and the back of car seats. It's $14.99 at Target. This one is from the Belleville store, where there is a good supply in all colors.
SPREAD IT ON: Whether you are delivering a hostess gift or saying thank you for watering the garden while on vacation, include one of these carved wood spreaders with a jar of jam, flavored butter or a gourmet spread. You'll find a couple different designs on the spreaders at Rachel's Garden Gift Shop in Belleville. They're $4.49. (You'll find lots of spreads to go with the spreaders.)
