A Venice man was sentenced Friday to four years in federal prison for using a communications facility in aid of a narcotics offense.
Markeith Reynolds, 39, at a plea hearing on April 6 pleaded guilty to using a telephone to facilitate the distribution of crack cocaine on April 18, 2007.
Reynolds time in prison will be followed by one year of supervised release. He also will have to pay a $100 special assessment fee and $600 fine.
