O'FALLON -- Two suspects were arrested in connection with an armed robbery of the McDonald's restaurant at 109 East Highway 50 Friday night and police are looking for a third person.

The robbery happened about 11:36 p.m., according to O'Fallon Police Patrolman David Matevey.

At least three suspects were involved and police arrested two of those suspects in custody after the suspects led police on a short pursuit in a vehicle and then on foot. Police searched for them with K-9 units and a helicopter.

No charges have been filed against the suspects yet as detectives continued to talk to witnesses Saturday.

Additional information about the robbery was not immediately available.
