The St. Clair County Drug Tactical Unit executed a search warrant at a Swansea home on Friday morning and found drugs and guns.
A special response team comprised of members of the St. Clair County Sheriff's Department, the Belleville Police Department and Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System executed the search warrant at 1822 Garden St. in Swansea about 7:30 a.m.
"The occupants of the residence have been under investigation for nearly a month for selling cocaine," said Sgt. William Kenny, head of the sheriff's department's drug unit. "During the execution of the search warrant, three suspect were taken into custody and drugs and weapons were seized as evidence."
Kenny estimated the street value of the drugs at $3,000.
The suspects remained at the St. Clair County Jail on Friday.
None of the suspects were identified because charges had not yet been issued.
