O’Fallon Detective Brian Gimpel, using a training model put together by Tactical One Training in St. Louis, talked about everything from how to properly secure church doors, to who should be trained to be observant, and what to look for. He showed attendees some tactical things to do and discussed who should make a call for a lock down.
Hadley Phillips talks to the Belleville Zoning Board of Appeals about a proposed assisted living and memory care center. The board recommended the City Council approve a zoning variance for the $7 million project although some nearby residents oppose the plan.
On Nov. 1, 2017, a male subject was raising funds through candy bar sales near the entrance/exit vestibule at the Shop ‘n Save, located at 5780 South Lindbergh. A female who donated money to his cause left her wallet there after completing her transaction. At approximately 4:15 PM, the subject shown took the wallet and conceals it. Credit cards belonging to the victim were later used in unauthorized transactions.
