If you’re screaming for ice cream in the summer heat, keep your cool. On Thursday, July 27, you can purchase a cold treat while also supporting a good cause.
Participating metro-east Dairy Queens will be putting on their 13th annual Miracle Treat Day at various locations throughout the area. The company will be donating at least $1 of every Blizzard that is sold to St. Louis Children’s Hospital and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
“Donations collected on Miracle Treat Day will directly help St. Louis Children’s Hospital and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital fund life-saving equipment, child-life services, critical renovations, etc,” the company said in a press release.
Last year, Dairy Queen stores raised more than $195,000 for the two hospitals, according to the press release.
Never miss a local story.
Customers and fans are encouraged by Dairy Queen to use #MiracleTreatDay on social media to celebrate and support the event.
