Muggy, warm weather still in the forecast

Hot at humid weather is in store again for the metro-east Wednesday.

But it will at least be slightly cooler than the previous two days with an expected high of 92 degrees. On Monday and Tuesday the high in the metro-east was 95.

There is a 20 percent chance of showers in the forecast for Wednesday with the most likely chance of rain after 1 p.m. The chance for rain will linger into the evening hours with a low of 73 overnight.

On Thursday the likelihood of thunderstorms will increase with a 30 percent chance during the day and a 40 percent chance in the evening. The high temperature will again be 92.

On Friday there is a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms with a high of 89.
