Dr. Kimberly K. Moore has been appointed to the medical staff at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese. Moore had been a physician at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.

Tom Maloney of Goshen Inspection Service, a Worden-based firm that conducts home inspections, was recently honored by the American Society of Home Inspectors for his 20 years of membership. Maloney conducts inspections on existing and new construction in the metro-east real estate market.

Teresa Whittaker, controller for Fairview Heights-based construction-management firm Impact Strategies, recently made a presentation before the national conference for the Timberline Users Group in Grapevine, Texas. Whittaker talked about Impact Strategies' use of the Construction Anywhere component of the Sage 300 accounting application. This application enables field superintendents to enter and code their time via their iPhones or laptops using the web-based application and create a paperless system that is integrated into the Timberline Accounting system and streamlines the process for payroll. The metro-east company is one of the first construction-management firms in the St. Louis area to use the system.

Joan Spiegel, Managing Attorney of the Western Regional Office for Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation in Alton, was presented with The Lawyers Trust Fund of Illinois' Leadership Award.
