Is this really July? Enjoy the cool weather while you can

More unseasonably cool weather is expected for the metro-east Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service, the high temperature will reach only 80 degrees -- about 10 degrees cooler than the average high temperature for mid-July in the St. Louis area -- under mostly sunny skies.

Skies will become increasingly cloudy overnight when the low temperature will drop to 60.

The high on Friday will be 79 under mostly sunny skies. It will be mostly cloudy Friday night with a low of 60.

On Saturday, partly sunny skies and a high of 82 are expected. The low will be 66 overnight.

The temperature will start to return to normal Sunday when the high will rise to 86 under mostly sunny skies. On Monday, the high will be 89.
