Hot and humid temperatures are expected under sunny skies Tuesday in the metro-east.
But the weather pattern could soon break with thunderstorms possible overnight and, after that, more unseasonably cool weather could be on the way.
The high Tuesday is expected to be 93 degrees with 91 percent humidity, which will make the temperature feel like it's closer to 100.
There is a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms late Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning. After 1 p.m. Wednesday the sky will start to clear and the high will reach 88.
Cooler temperatures will move in Thursday when the high will be 82 under sunny skies. On Friday it is expected to be mostly sunny with a high of 83.
