A healthy dose of warm weather is coming to the metro-east this week.
The temperature will rise to a high of 67 under sunny skies Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Monday night, the low will drop to 46 under mostly clear skies.
It will be sunny Tuesday with a high of 73 during the daytime hours. Overnight, the low will drop to 44.
A 20 percent chance of thunderstorms is predicted for Wednesday with the most likely chance of rain coming after 1 p.m. The high will be 74.
The chance of storms increases to 30 percent Wednesday night when the low will be 58.
Showers are likely Thursday and Friday with highs of 70 and 57 for those days. a total of half to an inch and a half of rain is expected.
