Any residual disappointment from having a flooded fireworks show on June 27 at Carlyle Lake may be washed away Labor Day weekend.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will have the Fireworks Spectacular at dusk Saturday. It’s just part of a full weekend of festivities at Carlyle Lake.
At 8 p.m. Friday, three amphitheaters will host “Nature’s Scavengers,” “Family Feud” and “Minute to Win It!”
Saturday activities will start at 11:30 a.m. with water safety games and a sand castle contest at the Dam West Beach. Live bands will play at the Dam West Shelter 2 from 1 to 8 p.m., and fireworks will start at dusk.
Never miss a local story.
On Sunday, there will be kayaking and water safety at 1 p.m. at Dam West Beach, and more water safety games at 3:30 p.m. at Keysport and Coles Creek beaches.
