Unseasonably warm temperatures are expected to remain in the metro-east for the next several days.
The high will reach 78 under mostly sunny skies Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. That’s 10 degrees warming than the average high of 68 for this time of year in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
The low will drop to 55 overnight with partly cloudy skies.
On Wednesday, the mercury will push a little bit higher, reaching 81 under mostly sunny skies.
The Wednesday night low will drop to 58. Skies will be partly cloudy.
A high of 81 and partly cloudy conditions are again expected Thursday.
The low will be 57 with partly cloudy skies Thursday night.
The next possibility for rain comes Friday when there is a 30 percent chance of showers with a high of 75.
