Members of the St. Clair County Republican Central Committee censured Romanik for use of profane language, a verbal assault against Ronald Duebbert and making false statements against Republican leaders.
Romanik dismissed the censure calling Republican leaders “idiots.” He accused them of failing conservatives in the metro-east and said only voters have the power to judge his candidacy.
