Parents and children should register for this program at the library beginning June 3.
The children will receive a book log to list the books they have listened to. Bring your log back to the library by July 10 and receive a certificate and prize.
Tambourine Club: Grades 1-3
Guitar Club: Grades 4-8
These reading clubs will run from June 3 through July 17. Children must register at the Jennie Latzer Kaeser Children’s Library for the summer reading program.
Children registering for the Beginners Club (grades 1-3) will have a goal of reading 15 books during the six-week program.
Children joining the Intermediate Club (grades 4-8) will have a goal of reading seven chapter books.
The grade levels are only guidelines; parents may discuss their child’s reading abilities during registration. Children who complete the reading program will be given a certificate and a prize. Each child will also be given a chance to enter a drawing for various prizes when they complete the program.
Children should bring their reading logs in on Monday, July 20 or Tuesday, July 21.
All children who complete the Tambourine or Guitar Clubs will be invited to a “Readin’ & Rockin’ Party” on Wednesday, July 22 at 6 p.m. at the library. Certificates and prizes will be awarded at the party.
