Want to get involved in a women’s organization? Want to learn more about IFBW? Like chocolate? Then this is for you.
The Highland IFBW will host a networking event as its August monthly meeting. It will be held Monday, Aug. 10 at The Chocolate Affair, 801 9th St. in Highland, beginning at 7 p.m. Join club members to hear Jennifer Libbra, owner and IFBW member, share information on being a woman-owned business and her love of chocolate.
This meeting will give members the opportunity to network with current and prospective members, learn more about IFBW, and enjoy some chocolate. Members are encouraged to bring a guest and/or prospective members.
Delicious desserts and beverages will be served at no charge. (No meal.)
Never miss a local story.
Members are asked to bring donations of back-to-school items as their admission fee, which will be distributed to area students through the Highland Area Christian Services Ministry.
Highland IFBW is an organization of “women helping women” and meets the second Monday of each month at various venues. All working women are welcome and invited to attend. For more information, contact Paula Redman at 654-3647.
