Mildred M. Zeller, 88, of rural New Douglas died on Friday, April 15 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 19 at Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston,with Rev. John Mindrup, associate pastor of Salem United Church of Christ in Alhambra, officiating. Burial was in New Douglas Cemetery.
She was born on Feb. 18, 1928 in Old Ripley to William and Maggie (Young) Ganzer. She married to Walter Francis “Bud” Zeller on Aug. 10, 1947 in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2006.
Mrs. Zeller was a homemaker and farm wife.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Edward) Mriscin of Alhambra and Betty Ann Straube of rural New Douglas; a son, Robert Zeller of rural New Douglas; grandchildren, Dale (Dawn) Mriscin, Michelle (Scott) Warford, Amy (David) Zajac, Jennifer Schroer, Nic (Christy) Zeller, Melinda (James) Jackson, Megan Zeller and Kayce Zeller; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Schoer, Abigal Zajac, Allyson Schoer, Brody Mriscin, Bradon Zeller, Kylie Kutz, Kami Kutz, Korah Rivera and Bella Jackson; and a sister, Janice (Angelo) of Ceilia, Ky.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Edwin John Zeller, and Gary Gene Zeller, who during the Vietnam War, and Mike Eugene Zeller; and a sister, Darlene Glasgow.
