The project contract is between Illinois American Water Company and Holland Construction for the amount of $235,900. Holland Superintendent Dennis Frerker said the work began in early March, and the building and exterior work will be complete by beginning of May. Village of Shiloh Engineer Norm Etling said, the village still has to contract out for the interior finishing work, which doesn’t have a finish date slated as of yet. “This is a good example of a private, public partnership to save customer and taxpayer funds by working together.”
