Staff Sgt. Kimberly Mathias, Munitions Operations NCOIC, is the 375th Air Mobility Wing’s latest “Face of Safety.” Mathias is responsible for shipping and receiving explosive assets for the installation. She also serves as the 375th Logistics Readiness Squadron weapons safety representative and has been assigned to the 375th AMW for over seven years. As the “Face of Safety,” she is recognized for her critical role as the WSR where she ensures training is conducted, mishap reporting is understood and emergency action checklists are properly coordinated. She recently conducted explosive safety training for 90 account custodians, 25 squadron commanders and trained three new instructors. Her exceptional leadership and her constant vigilance to safety has helped ensure zero wing level weapons inspection findings over the past four years.
