Staff Sgt. Jasen Lassig, 375th Communications Support Squadron, is this week’s “Showcase on ICE.” Lassig is the lead server administrator for the Air Force’s sole web development and hosting environment supporting 41 applications servicing 925,000 Department of Defense users. His contributions include guiding multiple operating system upgrades and migrating services from the 561st Network Operations Squadron network over to the Scott Air Force Base network. Additionally, he has spearheaded efforts in streamlining maintenance processes by automating periodic maintenance tasks. This has resulted in a 24 hour decrease in system down time and saved countless hours sustaining the network. Lassig’s efforts have been recognized multiple times with awards including the 375th CS NCO of the Quarter, NCO of the Year, and, most recently, the Airman Leadership School John L. Levitow award.
