Carole Corley, 375th Air Mobility Wing drug testing program administrative manager, is this week’s “Showcase on ICE.” Corley created a unique and innovative process that provides independence to commanders, Air Force Office of Special Investigations, and security forces. Specifically, the program ensures a member is mission capable at all times by ensuring that on-call collectors are available in the evening, on weekends and on holidays. Additionally, Corley revamped the official mailing of packages that initially cost $11.35 per unit using first-class mail. Now, shipping three units costs $18.85 using priority mail. Corley also handled 4,146 random and 896 unit sweep specimens and supervised an eight-person volunteer team. There have been no major discrepancies over 36 months during quarterly inspections.
