The Scott Air Force Base shooting range re-opened Aug. 22 after significant upgrades were made to the equipment and stalls. The range was closed to have repairs, and the decision was made to enclose the range, which will extend the life of the facility, cut training time, and save thousands of man hours over the next several years.
