Traffic stop leads to cocaine charge for Madison County man

A Madison County man has been charged with possession of cocaine after a sheriff's deputy said he was caught driving on a revoked license.

Corey D. Mack, 34 of 313 W. MacArthur Drive in Cottage Hills, was stopped Tuesday on Vaughn Road in Wood River for alleged improper lane usage. After the stop it was determined that Mack was driving on a revoked license and he was arrested, according to the Sheriff's Department's report.

The deputy then searched Mack's car and said he found cocaine and a digital scale.

Mack was being held in the Madison County Jail on $15,000 bail.
