ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES
TUESDAY, MARCH 17
Demarco L. Nicholson, 33, of 211 E. Monroe St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about March 12 by Belleville police. Nicholson allegedly, carried on his person a .380 caliber handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, and the said defendant was engaged in the commission of a misdemeanor involving the threat of violence against the person of Ivan Barnett, being an aggravated assault, in that the said defendant committed an assault, by pointing a deadly weapon, a .380 caliber handgun at Ivan Barnett’s head, thereby placing Ivan Barnett in reasonable apprehension of receiving a battery.
Orlandus L. Brimmage, 22, of 309 Biggs Drive, 2, Shiloh, arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, subsequent on or about Feb. 28 by Shiloh police. Brimmage allegedly, made physical contact with Vanessa Bernard, a family/household member, in that said defendant struck her in her face with his closed fist. The defendant has been previously convicted of aggravated domestic battery on March 19, 2013.
Thomas D. Buecher, 56, of 1901 State St., Granite City, arrested on suspicion of burglary, aggravated driving under the influence and driving on a revoked license on or about March 16 by Belleville police. Buecher allegedly, entered a motor vehicle, a white 2005 International Company van, of Ruts Moving and Storage, 101 Premier Drive, Belleville, with the intent to commit theft therein; drive a white 2005 International Company van State Street in Freeburg, while the defendant wa sunder the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant’s driving privileges were revoked.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18
Melissa L. Mathes, 35, of 12 Blackburn Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of harboring a fugitive on or about Jan. 27 by St. Clair County sheriff. Mathes allegedly, knowing that Willie Dover was wanted by the Illinois Department of Corrections, parole as an absconder from parole on drug induced infliction of great bodily harm from St. Clair County, with intent to prevent the apprehension of Willie Dover, harbored Willie Dover in her residence.
Alex W. Ybarra, 19, of 3 Charles Drive, Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about March 17 by St. Clair County sheriff. Ybarra allegedly, carried in a vehicle a .380 caliber handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, and said defendant was under 21 years of age and in possession of a handgun.
