ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES
THURSDAY, JULY 2
Alec Chisolm-Blockton, 18, of 1701 Edwardsville Road, Apt. C, Madison, arrested on suspicion of first degree murder and aggravated battery on or about June 11 by Illinois State Police. Chisolm-Blockton allegedly, without lawful justification and with the intent to kill or do great bodily harm to a male juvenile, date of birth, Oct. 2, 2000, shot the juvenile with a handgun, thereby causing the death of the juvenile; in committing a battery, intentionally and by means of the discharging of a firearm caused an injury to a male juvenile, date of birth, Aug. 30, 1998, in that said defendant shot the juvenile tin the head with a handgun.
Steven E. Powell, 45, of 616 E. Grant St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of failure to register as violent against youth offender, failure to notify change of address and two counts of domestic battery, subsequent on or about June 28 by Swansea police. Powell allegedly, a violent offender against youth, knowingly failed to renew registration in accordance with the provisions of the Murderer and Violence Against Youth Registration Act, with the Chief of Police of Belleville, within one year of last registration; failed to register where he was temporarily domiciled for a period of time of 5 days or more; knowingly made contact with a male minor, initials K.M., a family/household member, in that the defendant put a male minor in a headlock; threw a male minor to the ground. Defendant had been previously convicted of domestic battery on April 20, 2007.
Doris J. Kiefer, 22, of 1001 LaSalle St., D, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of burglary on or about June 27 by Belleville police. Kiefer allegedly, entered a building of the Apostolic Church, being a place of worship, located at 1648 LaSalle, Belleville, with the intent to commit theft therein.
Jamie E. Lott, 23, of 2913 W. Boulevard, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent on or about Jule 30 by Belleville police. Lott allegedly, took merchandise from Walmart, 2608 Green Mount Commons Drive, Belleville, being one boy’s outfit and one girl’s dress, totalr etail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of retail theft on Aug. 30, 2012.

THURSDAY, JULY 2
Steven A. Foppe, 64, of Swansea, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and traffic violation by St. Clair County sheriff.
Robert L. Mitchell, 50, of Belleville, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.
Kenneth B. Hasley, 28, of Wood River, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery by East St. Louis police.
Brent A. Cole, 41, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of criminal sexual assault by East St. Louis police.
