The Glen Carbon Police Department and the Macoupin County Sheriff's Department are asking for help in identifying two men suspected of cashing stolen checks for thousands of dollars.
The suspects have used aliases to cash checks between June 12 and June 27 for "several thousand dollars," said Glen Carbon Police Detective David Zarr.
Police on Thursday released a surveillance photo of the two men. One suspect has a goatee and the other is clean-shaven. Both are possibly 25 to 35 years old, and are believed to be Hispanic.
Police asked that anyone with information call Glen Carbon Police Department at 288-7226.
