WOOD RIVER -- The Wood River Aquatic Center is temporarily closed for repairs.
The pool complex closed because a water pump malfunctioned. Employees said the new pump arrived Thursday and repair crews were working on it. It was not yet known whether the complex would be able to reopen Friday.
The complex includes two four-story water slides, diving wells and a volleyball court, as well as the large main pool and sunbathing areas.
