Belleville's Phoenix Recycling will shred documents for free

Phoenix Recycling will provide free and reduced price document shredding Friday and Saturday to celebrate the opening of its new "document destruction center" in Belleville.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Document Destruction Center, 2795 South Belt West.

The first two boxes of materials are free. Additional boxes will be $2 per box, which is normally priced at $4.
