Levee work to be topic at Chamber of Commerce breakfast

Guest speakers will talk about the status of levee repairs in Madison County during a breakfast Thursday morning organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Southwestern Madison County.

County Board Chairman Alan Dunstan and Les Sterman of the Southwestern Illinois Flood Prevention District Council will speak at the breakfast, scheduled for 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Ravanelli's.

The restaurant is in the American Village Shopping Center.

The cost is $15 for members of the chamber or $20 for nonmembers.
