Saturday lane closure on MLK Bridge

The westbound lane on the Martin Luther King Bridge will be closed Saturday, weather permitting.

The lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the Illinois Department of Transportation. The closure is necessary to perform minor bridge and parapet work.

Both eastbound lanes will remain open to traffic during the westbound lane closure.
