Cops finally capture man who had eluded them for months

WASHINGTON PARK -- A Washington Park man who eluded police for months was charged Friday in connection with a shooting earlier this year.

Brandon Johnson, who was arrested Tuesday, was charged with two counts of aggravated discharging of a firearm and one count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Johnson is accused of shooting at a house in the 5600 block of Warren Avenue.

Johnson's bail was set at $200,000.
