Section of I-55 north of Illinois 143 closes for roadwork

The right lane of northbound Interstate 55 will be closed for about five days starting Monday for bridge deck patching.

A two-mile section north of Illinois 143 will be closed at 8 a.m. Monday and reopened to traffic Friday, weather permitting, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
