2 die in Missouri crash after driver falls asleep at the wheel

LEBANON, Mo. -- Two people have died in Missouri crash after a driver fell asleep at the wheel.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the victims as 51-year-old Kenneth Kimrey and 72-year-old Patricia Kimrey, both of Lebanon.

The crash happened late Saturday when the driver of a sport utility vehicle fell asleep while driving on Missouri 32 near Lebanon.

The SUV crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a car, killing both of its occupants.

The driver of the SUV was flown to a Springfield hospital with serious injuries.
