SALT LAKE CITY --
There are no strange outbursts in court this time from the Utah man captured in Missouri with the body of his ex-girlfriend.
Michael Doyel (DOYLE) pleaded not guilty Friday during a brief appearance in federal court in Salt Lake City. He's indicted on a kidnapping charge.
Authorities say he kidnapped Deborah Jones on April 17. Jones' body was found in a storage container in her car, four days later at a Branson, Mo., motel.
No charges have been filed yet in the 50-year-old woman's death. When he last appeared in court, Doyel suggested Jones still was alive.
Prosecutors call him a con man.
