Writer Lee Pitzer asks how anyone of the middle class, or even the upper middle class, could ever justify being a Republican. He goes on to portray Republicans as devoted to the care and benefit of America’s wealthy. By “America’s wealthy” does Pitzer mean people like the Clintons, Warren Buffet, and George Soros, who contributed millions of dollars to Hillary’s campaign?
If Pitzer had any idea of what’s going on in this country, he would see that Wall Street, which is the epitome of the wealthy, has benefited the most during the Obama Administration while the middle class has seen their buying power decreased. The rash of new regulations and laws enacted by the Obama Administration, not the least of these being Obamacare, has further degraded middle class Americans.
Pitzer goes on to complain about the tax code and how it needs to be revised. I might ask, if the present tax code is such a problem, why didn’t Obama change it, particularly during his first two years in office, when Democrats controlled both houses of Congress? Instead, Obama frayed away his political capital on the disaster known as Obamacare. Further, Democrats have encouraged illegal aliens, particularly women and children, to cross our borders by the millions. These people fill our schools and take advantage of all the give-away programs while paying little in taxes.
After eight years of Obama and the horrible mess he has made, I don’t see how anyone would want to be a Democrat.
