Taxes have lost their fizz

I agree with our local legislators, this idea of taxing soda is just another attempt for the other lawmakers to enrich themselves at the expense of taxpayers. It's the surplus of taxes in Illinois that are driving businesses away. In Highland and Carlyle alone, I've seen several businesses disappear, and I wonder why?
