Guns can't be carried everywhere

BND letter writer Michael Ray Dillier can obsess about Illinois concealed carry permit holders following the law. If he does in fact intend to carry, when he applies for a permit he will learn there are 23 areas in the state that do not allow concealed firearms -- far from "everywhere." Violations are a felony, unlike Missouri's slap on the wrist.

If Dillier chooses to forego applying for a permit, I hope he is apprehended and prosecuted with the full force of the law.
