Health issues get ignored

It is a fact that all the children, teenagers and adults pouring across the border in the thousands (300,000 since January, of whom 60,000 are children, according to The New York Times) are not being examined and quarantined if they have diseases such as tuberculosis, scabies, measles or chicken pox. This was common for all coming through Ellis Island, but not so today. Tuberculosis is very common in Mexico and the Central American countries.

They are being held shortly, then released all over the United States with next to no documentation. I would not want to have my grandchildren or children in any public school this fall with this kind of movement of potential disease sources spread all over the country. Whether adults or children, the ultimate disaster is a disease epidemic and with this administration they will be happy to not let any disaster go to waste from a political standpoint.

Even though they are primarily responsible for this disaster, aided and abetted by the press, and allowed to succeed by weak-kneed Republican Party members who were too worried about being "liked" by the press and the populace. No leadership, just slogans.

Flu shots are going to be useless if we keep this up.

Remember, government is the answer. Put that in your tweeter.
