NYPD should try a Taser

Just maybe our local police departments can advise the New York Police Department about the use of Tasers (Thomas A. Swift Electric Rifles) to subdue individuals who resist arrest. Resisting arrest, whether the individual is guilty or not guilty, is not an option.

It is too bad that an individual recently died as a result of resisting the NYPD, but he determined his own fate by resisting arrest. Selling cigarettes on the streets of New York (Staten Island) without a license and a tax stamp is a no-no. Wake up, New York City.
