Joseph M. Reichert wrote that none of our Founding Fathers were Christians. Nevertheless, this government united in the belief of law, did indeed, uphold these words of the Lord for many generations. Marriage is between one man and one woman.
President Obama professed to be a Christian. At one time he believed that marriage was between one man and one woman. His belief changed, and now he supports same-sex marriage. Are his beliefs immaterial? Would the outcome be the same if he had vigorously protected the Defense of Marriage Act? Lying words can persuade and prevail.
Your beliefs define who you are. The Bible states, as a man thinks in his heart, so is he; out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks; it’s what comes out of the mouth that defiles a man. Our lawmakers love to stand up and say, “God bless America,” and out of some of the same mouths come same-sex marriage. The Bible states, blessed is everyone that fears the Lord and walks in his ways. Cursed is the man whose heart departs from the Lord. The fool says in his heart, there is no God.
We have let the forces of evil shut out God in so many places, and now Reichert doesn’t even want the truth published, The Word of God.
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” Do you want to be blessed or cursed?
