Writer Gene Robke, true to form, took my comments about some lie Fox News allegedly made concerning who attended some general’s funeral out of context. My point being that liberal Democrats are more interested in something as piddling as that while their guru, Barack Obama, continues to lie to us about things that affect our livelihood, our security and our very way of life. While Robke and his accomplices are attacking Fox News, I would like to point out that year after year in poll after poll, Fox News is judged to be the most-trusted news channel on cable while MSNBC is the least trusted.
In answer to Robke’s constant assailing of President Bush for the casualties in Iraq, I would like to point out that President Harry Truman, Democrat, got us into a war in Korea that cost the country almost 34,000 dead and ended in a stalemate. Lyndon Johnson, Democrat, instituted a war in Vietnam with more than 47,000 American dead that ended in an American defeat. Bush won his wars. If Reagan or either of the Bush’s were president, ISIS and Iran would not be in Iraq, Putin would not have taken over Crimea, the Ukrainians would not be fighting Russia with inadequate weapons and we would not be making dangerous treaties with Iran. And you can take that to the bank.
When Iranian missiles loaded with nuclear weapons rain down upon this country, I suppose Democrats will muse, “I guess Obama really did lie to us.” Not possible. Ask the Japanese.
