We are very thankful to everyone.
The Tom Qualls Foundation for People and Animals – Wishing Well Ministry Outreach does what it can all year long with the sweet grace of God. It’s been a cold winter for all, especially the homeless people and animals. We are still raising funds for our Valentine’s Day program. Our dream is to raise $1,000 for dog food, cat food, dog houses, tarps, blankets, straw, hay, etc.; so far we have raised $580. We are very grateful.
What a blessing, last Valentine’s Day we rescused a puppy in Washington Park named Fuzzy that’s now a year old. He needed surgery on both eyelids or he would have gone blind. So we started a Valentine’s Day raffle. After we had the tickets printed, a very good, longtime friend called and paid for Fuzzy’s eye surgery.
Our furry friend will not go blind now thanks to a hero, a great animal lover. The same hero helped us with a homeless dog that we rescued named Sissy. She had heartworms but now she and Fuzzy are doing great. It took us more than two years to gain her trust. Now she has her own room. They both are part of our family.
Never miss a local story.
We rescue and feed and water the homeless strays all year long. Being a public servant you must pray and do what you can.
