Regarding a letter to the BND from Frankie Seaberry: Maybe President Bush did not leave a stable Iraq, but ISIS was caused by President Obama taking troops out to soon.
Obama seized every opportunity to trumpet the departure as a major foreign policy achievement. Then the sudden rise of ISIS forced him to do precisely what he most wanted to avoid: yet another military commitment in the Middle East. This one is much more modest, perhaps, than the 2003 invasion of Iraq, but nonetheless substantial enough to raise fears of a quagmire. This from a government site so Seaberry is very wrong about ISIS not being caused by Obama; if he hadn’t taken the troops out when he did, ISIS probably never would have gotten started.
ISIS also has already invaded us here in United States. It has been on the news that several people from different states have been arrested as they where trying to get over to join ISIS. Also several bombs have gone off that were planted by them.
It’s only a matter of time before they do more damage.
